Making a Credit Card Deal You Are No Longer Slim
Using Credit Cards
Having read the title of this article you, probably, thought something like "What a crap! How a credit card can affect my body?" Do not rush to jump to such conclusions. There is a connection. Just have some patience and you will find out how your credit card can spoil your waistline.
No one would deny that having a credit card is a pure convenience. This small plastic thing makes your life easier and saves you a great deal of time. A credit card makes all types of goods and services at least twice more available to you.
Say you pay for groceries, clothes, gas, or whatever, you do not need to rummage through your wallet in the search of the necessary amount of money, take it out, give it to a cashier, wait for your change, and then put it back into the wallet. A credit card simplifies this process a lot. One swipe, one signature, and you purchases are paid.
Now, imagine it is lunch time. So, what would you prefer: some home-maid food that you need to prepare beforehand, or just to go out and have a lunch at some Mc Donald's, Burger King, or Applebee's? I guess, most of you would choose the second option. And that is quite natural. The reason for that is, again, that very convenience.
People are lazy by nature; they strive to save our time and efforts on nearly every aspect of our life. Instead of driving a car with a manual gearbox, we get automatic transmissions, instead of going to malls, we make purchases online, and instead of wasting hours on cooking we dine at fast food restaurants.
When you come to some fast food place you know that you are guaranteed quick service. And your credit card makes your visit to fast food restaurant even more rapid. Of course, you have another alternative at your breakfast or lunch time - you can go to a restaurant. But there you will have to wait for your order for about 20 minutes, and then wait for a waiter to bring you a check. In this case you risk being late for work.
So, fast food places save your precious time as well as credit cards do. But are you sure that some extra spare minutes you win with them can make up for your beauty and health?
Doctors and scientists all over the world talk about the harmful impact junk food has on our health. You perfectly know that it leads to obesity, metabolic misbalances, even heart diseases, and other health problems. Not to mention the fact that in 90% cases you can forget about good shape and slender body.
Let's appeal to common sense. You can save your time on other things without any harm to your health. For instance, instead of going to a bank to apply for a credit card deal you can fill out an online credit card application.
So, maybe next time on your way to a fast food restaurant you will stop for a while and think if those 15-20 minutes you save there are so vitally important to you, so that you are ready to sacrifice your health and fit. Our life flies by with the speed of light. So, why carry coals to Newcastle?
